Launch Event — Fintech for the Culture
Black in Fintech officially launched with an evening exploring what it takes to build fintech that genuinely serves Black communities. Senior leaders and founders shared honest conversations around lived experiences, representation and innovation before the community came together for networking.

Vision to Venture × Wise
In partnership with Wise, we celebrated Black innovation by connecting aspiring founders with experienced fintech leaders. The evening featured Wise Chief Product Officer Nilan Peiris alongside founders discussing product leadership, entrepreneurship and scaling successful fintech businesses.

Hosted the panel “Breaking In, Standing Out: Black Careers in Fintech” while giving our community access to one of the UK’s biggest Black business events. The discussion focused on career progression, visibility and leadership within fintech.

Partnered with the Black Tech Achievement Awards to encourage nominations from across the community, resulting in a Black in Fintech community member winning Fintech Gamechanger of the Year.
